Our goal is to prevent long wait times and keep you informed. Checking in before arriving to the clinic and having all forms and records completed reduces wait times to usually under 15 minutes. Walk ins may have a longer wait of at least 30 minutes. Please be mindful medical tests/procedures are being performed. We take our time with more anxious or sick pets. Some time variables can not be predicted.

We will gladly work with your pet insurance provider. Pet insurance typically works differently than human insurance. After you pay for vet services, your insurance company will reimburse you based on your claim and plan’s coverage. We can provide receipts and medical records to help you process your claim.

Every facility has different requirements. We recommend checking the requirements at least 6-8 weeks in advance in case booster vaccines are needed. Neighborhood Vet offers all the vaccines commonly needed for grooming or boarding. Most facilities will require all core vaccines. Non-core vaccines for dogs may include Bordetella and Influenza. Some facilities require a parasite check. Please remember, it can take 2-3 weeks for a vaccine to boost your pet’s immune system and provide proper protection.
