Meet Dr. Kinsey

Hi, I’m Dr. Kinsey!

Like so many veterinarians, I was one of those kids who always knew this was my calling. Growing up in a small Georgia town, I was lucky enough to start volunteering at our local vet hospital when I was just 12 years old—and I’ve been in the veterinary field ever since. A dream come true.

After graduating from the University of Georgia, my career took me to different parts of the country, including New York City. I’ve worked in both private and corporate veterinary hospitals and have witnessed incredible advancements in veterinary medicine. Through all these experiences, one thing remained clear to me: pets and their people deserve a veterinary experience that is welcoming, personal, and centered on their unique needs.

That’s why I founded Neighborhood Vet—a place that captures the spirit of the small-town clinic I grew up in with the modern advancements of today. Here, you can ask questions, be involved in your pet’s care, and trust that we’re working together to find the best approach. I believe in personalized veterinary medicine because no two pets (or their people) are exactly alike.

Best Advice for a New Pet Owner:

  • Get pet insurance…an emergency or serious illness is likely to happen in your pet’s life. Having a plan and financial help for medical bills will make caring for your bit a little easier.

I look forward to meeting you and your pet and being a part of their healthcare journey!
